Whether you’re currently in high school and sussing out degree options, or in university and sussing out potential transfer options, landing on the right course for you can be challenging.

But we’ve developed something we think can really help: Course Search. With Course Search, you can investigate all the relevant factors - just like everybody’s favourite 1930s sleuth Nancy Drew - to find the best outcome for you. And the best part is that it’s super easy to use! Here’s how.

Filter courses by category

The first thing you might like to do is filter for a specific category of courses. For example, if you know for sure that you want to study something in the Commerce field, you can filter the search so that only relevant courses are displayed. This way, you can search through them without seeing irrelevant results.

Filter courses by university

You also have the option of filtering by specific institution. For example, you might want to check out which Commerce-relevant courses are available specifically at one university - let’s use Monash University for sake of example.

Sort by required ATAR

So we’ve narrowed courses by category, and also by institution. But which courses will you realistically consider? If you’re currently in high school, and not just transferring degrees, your ATAR might be a relevant consideration.

By sorting the displayed courses by ATAR (that is, the historical required ATAR to get into the course), you can get a clearer indication of what might be available to you come results day.

Learn more about the course and university

At this point, it might be a little clearer to you what some of the available options are. To learn more about each of them, click the course to find more information. You’ll see things like the campus, mode of delivery, course type, and reviews if available - along with a course link directly to the course on the university’s website.

Course Search is a really easy way to filter a heap of different courses across different institutions and subject areas - all at once. It's not exhaustive, and it doesn’t feature every single course available, but it’s a great place to start!

Best of luck with your decision-making.
