Overview

The Associate Degree of Teacher Education is your pathway to further studies in education and teaching.

You'll develop fundamental critical thinking skills and build knowledge in contemporary education theory.

You'll learn key concepts of student development and establish critical capabilities in literacy and numeracy.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.

Majors

Teacher education.
