Overview

The Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at UniSQ is an innovative program designed to produce entry-level graduates who are eligible to apply to be certified practising speech pathologists. Students will learn to diagnose and treat a range of communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults and to apply these skills in a variety of professional settings. A key focus of the program is to engage students from regional and remote areas and to support them in returning to practice in their communities through the acquisition and application of advanced digital health skills and an extensive regional and remote clinical placement. Students will also have the opportunity to explore the importance of Speech Pathology in juvenile justice, social policy and advocacy and educational settings.
