Overview

The course consists of core sustainable systems engineering and industrial design, along with elective courses to help you develop specialist skills in areas of particular interest to you.

Sustainable systems engineering brings together the new technologies and innovative engineering approaches we need for sustainable global development. Sustainable systems engineering studies will focus on mathematics, sustainable systems, engineering design and engineering professional practice with specialisations in energy or transport and logistics.

Industrial design courses aspire designers to develop the skills to invent, visualise and prototype design solutions to solve complex problems. There are four core study streams including design studies and professional practice, communications, technology and design studio.

You’ll undertake a capstone project in the final year, providing an opportunity to integrate engineering and industrial design capabilities.
