Bachelor Degree (Honours) in Science (Dean's Scholar)

As an RMIT Dean’s Scholar in Science you will strengthen your foundation in food science in preparation for further study or research.

This is a select entry four-year degree incorporating an honours year for capable and highly motivated students who want research training through hands-on participation in research projects.

During the second and third years of the course, you will carry out two research-oriented activities mentored by research active scientists.

In the third year, you will have an opportunity to participate in a research project which may involve collaboration with industry partners. The final year includes advanced coursework and an advanced research project of your choice under the guidance of a research active scientist.

This degree is intended as a pathway into higher degree by research studies.
