We're expanding into new physical and digital worlds, breaking down barriers and embracing inclusion and diversity. La Trobe’s major in event management is designed to help you change the way we gather to celebrate, explore and communicate.

Offered through La Trobe’s Bachelor of Accounting, in this exciting major you'll learn the skills to deliver successful events and find innovative solutions to any challenge. Understand the evolving events space and learn how to manage volunteers and facilitate conferences.

La Trobe's Bachelor of Accounting gives you the technical and human skills you need to adapt and thrive in our era of digital transformation. You’ll develop vital skills in accounting, information systems, finance, economics, management and data analytics tools. You’ll also build a deep understanding of business law, auditing and assurance, forensic accounting, taxation and more.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.
