Offered through La Trobe’s Bachelor of Accounting, in this valuable major you'll learn how businesses operate differently in local and international markets. Explore the fundamentals of economics, finance, management and marketing – from an international perspective. You’ll also explore key contemporary issues in data analytics, corporate social responsibility and the challenges of international development.

La Trobe's Bachelor of Accounting gives you the technical and human skills you need to adapt and thrive in our era of digital transformation. You’ll develop vital skills in accounting, information systems, finance, economics, management and data analytics tools. You’ll also build a deep understanding of business law, auditing and assurance, forensic accounting, taxation and more.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.
