Overview

Public health is the science and art of preventing disease, prolonging life and promoting health via sustainable improvements to social and political systems. This entry qualification provides you with the skills and insight to improve population health by applying a rigorous evidence-based approach to understand disease determinants and plan effective solutions through policy and legislation, advocacy, and the development and management of health programs for populations, communities and individuals. The Business Administration degree will build your general business knowledge in areas such as human resource management, marketing and management.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: As for year 12 or equivalent.

Majors

Business Administration, Public Health.
