Overview

Architects are involved in the design of quality environments in which people live, work and play. This course will provide you with an understanding of both the practical and theoretical sides of architecture, the design of buildings, technical aspects of building construction, the relationship between the natural and the constructed environment, and how architecture relates to people and how they live. You will learn how to effectively communicate your architectural ideas through written and spoken reports, photographs, drawings, models and electronic media. This course is a pre-professional degree that is one of the prerequisites for entry into an accredited Master of Architecture program.
