Overview

Studying Arts and Fine Art is your gateway to the creative economy, opening doors to dynamic career paths.

This course will immerse you in a range of conceptual and practical approaches to art making through workshops and classes to help develop your studio practice. Combine your course with your choice of over 30 majors from arts and social sciences to develop the transferable skills employers seek, including communication, teamwork, research, critical thinking and cultural sensitivity and expertise in your chosen major.

You'll have the chance to choose from four Professional Futures areas which build skills and abilities employers value and seek: Global Immersion, Intercultural expertise, Professional experience and Innovation capability.

You'll graduate ready for a career in the arts industry or interdisciplinary roles in cultural programs.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 27 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

As for Year 12 (or Year 12 equivalent).
