Overview

The Bachelor of Arts Enhanced Program for High Achievers requires completion of at least one major sequence and one minor sequence; select from 25 major disciplines and from more than 30 minor disciplines. This degrees flexibility allows exploration of an in-depth a single field of study or a wide ranged and study several different fields of study.

This degree aims to provide students with a broad range of disciplinary and interdisciplinary studies from across the University, with a strong focus on aspects of human culture and achievement. This degree provides students with a coherent and advanced knowledge in their chosen areas of study with the knowledge and ability to undertake a research project.

On completion of the degree students will have a coherent and advanced knowledge of the underlying principles and concepts in two or more areas of study with research principles and methods. Students will be familiar with theories, factual content and research procedures in their major and minor fields of study and understand the relationships and connections between different fields of study.

This degree prepares graduates for employment in many fields given the broad scope of specialisations. Potential occupations may include graduate policy officer, intelligence analyst and academic administration officer; potential employers may include government agencies, universities and public and private companies.

The Psychology major of this degree is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council.
