Overview

The Bachelor of Arts (Health in Community Contexts) specialisation will equip students with a unique set of interdisciplinary skills not available in the generalist Bachelor of Arts degree, and which will allow students to develop their communication, research, analysis and problem-solving capacity in relation to health and wellness in a broad societal and economic environment.

This is a non-clinical program.

The Health in Community Contexts specialisation aims to provide students with a strong framework for gaining a deep understanding of the social determinant of health and wellness as well as of contemporary health issues. And the opportunity to develop a real-world project in their final year which will allow them to interact directly with a range of community environments. Students will undertake a major in this degree choosing from over 25 major disciplines.

The Psychology major of this degree is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council.
