Overview

This major examines the human dimension of the internet: how people network, collaborate and share information through internet communications, media and design. You can develop advanced skills in creating, maintaining and managing online communications and gain an understanding of their social and cultural contexts. You can also learn the significance of social media, analyse political and social uses of the internet and develop skills in web media, publishing and presence, online public communication and online community management.
