Overview

With the Bachelor of Arts - Bachelor of Business double degree, you will gain an understanding of the corporate and commercial environment while studying the traditional areas of Arts.

You will learn essential skills needed to think critically about the world of business and navigate everyday life for decades to come. Double degrees broaden your knowledge and skills set, giving you a competitive advantage in the workforce while reducing the length and cost of study.

In addition to your deepened understanding of complex business operations, you will gain skills in areas such as effective communication, problem solving, negotiation, collaboration and critical analysis; all essential for high achievement in a range of global business, government or NGO careers.

On completion of this degree, you will be able to apply critical thinking and research methods to commercial issues in local, national and international contexts. Our double degree in Arts and Business combines expertise in humanities, social research and analysis with a focus on real-world business skills and experience.

You will gain practical, real-world experience and make professional connections that will help launch your career, including the opportunity to participate in our Business Internship program, which could see you partnered with industry-leading corporations.

Art students select one major and a second major or minor from the wide array of Bachelor of Arts offerings, alongside elective subjects of their choosing. As part of the business component of the degree you will learn core business subjects including accounting, economics, finance, management, and marketing, and later choose a business major to focus on.
