Overview

The aim of this package is to provide appropriate preparation for a pathway to secondary teaching in English, Humanities and Social Sciences and Languages in line with the Australian National Curriculum. The Bachelor of Arts allows students to study a double major, giving them the opportunity to pursue two areas of academic interest and enhancing their career options at the same time. Students will enrol into their preferred major and will nominate a second major upon entry into the program. As a pathway to secondary teaching, this 3-year Bachelor +2-year Master package develops expertise in delivering educational programs and curriculum associated with their chosen subject areas, taking into account the diverse needs of adolescent learners.
