Overview

La Trobe’s Bachelor of Arts and Master of Teaching (Secondary) package lets you build knowledge and skills from various available majors, while providing a pathway to teaching for a secondary curriculum.

Three core subjects will form the basis of your program, supplementing major and minor choices. These subjects are built upon four key pillars: Employability, Research, Critical Thinking and Career Readiness. Studying these subjects will help prepare you for the demands of an arts degree, along with postgraduate studies and post-university life.

Graduates who meet the entry requirements for the Master of Teaching (Secondary) can combine knowledge of their chosen majors with skills in education. This two-year teaching qualification addresses the need to move from a generalist model of secondary teacher education to a specialist approach.

Terms and Conditions apply. You must ensure that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions before applying for a package deal.
