You’ll learn the basics of plant and animal biology and how these systems have adapted and diversified in the unique environments found in Australia.

Plant Biology (Extended Major)

Plant Biology is an exciting and rapidly developing discipline, with many applications in fields as diverse as agriculture, conservation biology, marine biology and developing biological solutions to environmental problems. You’ll learn to apply scientific knowledge from botany, molecular sciences and genetics, working on applications to real-world problems such as how plants adapt to climate change impacts and how to produce healthier and more sustainable foods for the future.

Wildlife Conservation (Extended Major)

The Wildlife Conservation extended major allows you to study animals with a special emphasis on understanding their conservation status and options for recovering populations of threatened species.
