Overview

First-year studies in biological chemistry, biomedical physics, anatomy, physiology, and human cell and molecular biology form the foundation for the study of clinical areas. In second and third years, you choose one major and two minor study areas to build knowledge in areas of emerging priority and employment. You choose from anatomical sciences, cell and molecular biotechnology, human biochemistry, human physiology, or infection and immunity. Elective units can be completed in law, business and engineering. The course provides a pathway to other health-related courses, including QUT's Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Honours).
