Overview

This course provides the perfect career foundation for students who enjoy building and planning, drawing and design. Students will learn from an experienced teaching team and through design-based projects and authentic assessments, will develop skills in planning and designing residential homes and commercial buildings, satisfying a Building Design - Open licence issued by the Building Services Authority, Queensland. Students will build an understanding of construction structures, building materials and services, sustainability, professional practice and communication.
