Overview

You will gain practical, real-world experience and make professional connections when you study a Bachelor of Business at UOW. Develop core skills across all business functions, as you build specialist knowledge in a chosen field to excel in today's dynamic and complex business environment.

What does it take to be a leader? How do you stay competitive in a global business environment? You will be able to answer these questions and more as you study the industry- driven content that will develop a firm foundation in ethical commerce and business that will prepare you for success in your chosen career and the next generation of leadership roles.

The Bachelor of Business offers a foundation year covering all core disciplines of business, giving a solid understanding of issues facing business today. You will then select a major in one or more of the principal areas of business as well as complete a final-year capstone subject that lets you apply everything you’ve learnt in collaboration with students from other disciplines. Plus, you'll have the option of applying for an internship to gain valuable experience while receiving credit towards your degree.

The Bachelor of Business can form the first three years of a UOW Integrated Master’s (IM), allowing you to complete your Bachelor of Business and a master's degree in four years.

As a UOW Business graduate you will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to make a positive impact in the world; no matter what path you take. The Faculty of Business and Law is a signatory to the Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME), a global initiative of the United Nations. We champion responsible management education, research and thought leadership in the classroom using real world examples, so when you join the workforce you are better prepared to make the ethical business decisions that this world requires.
