Overview

The Bachelor of Business Administration is a flexible degree covering all key aspects of the business environment. In addition to studying the essential core disciplines of business and administration, you can tailor your studies according to your interests or career aspirations by choosing electives from a range of business and general disciplines.

What skills are needed to navigate the future business landscape? What does it take to build a successful business? On completion of this degree, you will be able to answer these questions and more as you confidently enter the world of business with a field of focus and practical and hands-on experience.

You will benefit from the expertise of our teaching staff who are some of the best in their fields. You will develop a comprehensive knowledge of business and organisations, and the skills to analyse business issues in local, national and international contexts as you study subjects such as accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing.

You will also complete a final-year capstone subject that lets you apply everything you've learned up to that point in collaboration with students from other disciplines. Plus, you have the option of applying for an internship to gain valuable experience whilst receiving credit towards your degree.

The Bachelor of Business Administration can also form the first three years of a UOW Integrated Master’s (IM), allowing you to complete your Bachelor of Business Administration and a Business Master's degree in four years.
