Overview

The combination of business and media communication will give you broad business knowledge, specialised communication skills and the ability to work across a number of industries. This is great if you are wanting comprehensive knowledge in both fields, as well as an edge in the competitive world of media and business.

You will develop core business skills that can be used in the media industry, and you will also establish a strategic and critical understanding of written, visual and audio communication - and how to apply these skills - in the field of business.

With 17 majors on offer, not only will you have plenty of flexibility and choice, but also a world of opportunity ahead of you.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 27 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 22 in one of Maths: Mathematical Methods or Maths: Specialist Mathematics or at least 25 in Maths: General Mathematics.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

As for Year 12 (or Year 12 equivalent).
