Overview

In an increasingly digital world, it pays to be at the forefront of trends, applications and principles.

With this degree, students will learn how the world is changing and growing, and how businesses adapt to new digital ecosystems.

Students will be taught of how to use industry tools, and will develop the essential digital skills and mindsets of the workplaces of today and the future. This broad curriculum incorporates IT strategy and governance, financial technology, and digital business transformation, as well as creativity, innovation and design.

Students will participate in a variety of work-integrated learning practices designed to make them ready to pursue a career in transforming businesses in the digital world, digital marketing, financial technology, or even digital law. This degree is an excellent avenue through which to learn how digital influences, and often defines, the modern workplace.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.

Majors

Civil and Criminal Issues in the Digital World, Creativity, Innovation and Design, Design Thinking and the Digital Startup, Digital Business Transformation, Digital Marketing, Financial Technology, Information Systems Strategy and Governance, Leadership and Decision Making.

Potential Career Outcomes

This degree’s goal is to create graduates that are equipped with the capabilities and skills required for future careers and graduate success in a digital world. Graduates will be ideally placed to work in digital consulting and business transformation, user experience, business analysis, digital marketing, digital startups and business innovation.
