Overview

Students will be exposed to the ideas and strategies of Australian entrepreneurs, and trained to think critically, communicate effectively and manage a new business in today's globally competitive business environment. 

This three year course includes a business common core and specialised studies across entrepreneurship, venture creation and intrapreneurship. Students can choose a minor from another business discipline such as marketing, economics and finance, logistics management or international business or other subjects to suit their career goals. 

During the course, students have the opportunity to participating in an internship in Australia or overseas as part of a global mobility experience.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.

Applied Entrepreneurship, Business, Business (finance), Business (management), Business (operations), Business development, Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship and innovation, International Business, Intrapreneurship, Management.

Potential Career Outcomes

Graduates will have the skills and knowledge to start their own ventures. They will also be equipped to work in corporate environments and small to medium enterprises, as well as in government and not-for-profit organisations.
