Overview
The aim of this program is to provide, packaged pathway to complete, bachelor's and master's degree in, years (full time).
The Bachelor of Business (Financial Planning) provides, focused business education program for, professional career in financial planning and is recognised as an approved program by Financial Adviser Standards, The Treasury.
Build specialist skills and meet the education requirements to practise as, qualified financial planner. Learn how to develop financial and legal documentation that meet regulatory and legislative requirements, and assist clients in reaching their short and long-term financial goals.
Explore personal budgeting, superannuation and retirement planning, financial risk management and estate planning.
Gain practical skills with software commonly used by industry and access our state-of-the-art Iress Trading Room or located on campus which includes, market data feed and financial analysis tools, the same technology used by the world's leading banks and investment firms. Gain practical skills through an industry internship,, mentor program, or an overseas study experience.
Treasury have taken on the responsibilities of the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA) as of, January 2022.
Designed in consultation with industry, the Master of Professional Accounting is professionally accredited and will provide students with the specialised knowledge and business skills to practice as, high-level accounting professional. Students will develop analytical, business management and problem-solving skills, and an advanced understanding of accounting practice. Upon completion, graduates will be equipped with this unique skill set and stand out from the crowd as, leader in the field. Graduates will be well placed to pursue, career in areas such as financial reporting, management accounting, tax and auditing as, senior accounting or business adviser. From commerce to industry, opportunities exist in both the public and private sector, including local and national governments, hospitals and other departments.
