Overview

If you’re interested in business analysis, project management or e-business in a global context, then VU’s Bachelor of Business major in information systems management is for you. You’ll gain knowledge from information systems analysis and modelling to digital commerce and management techniques – and will learn to develop and deliver an information systems project.

The course comprises 24 units, including core business units, specialist units, elective units and a stream of Business Challenge units, which are designed to build and enhance your skills in critical thinking, academic writing, teamwork, problem solving, project management career preparedness, with an entrepreneurial mindset, and global perspective.  You can also complete a second major from 11 business fields, giving you opportunity to broaden your career prospects. Work-Integrated Learning units are available and provide opportunities to apply learnings and enhance practical work skills preparing students for employment.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.
