Connect with Swinburne’s industry partners with two six-month or one 12-month placement. In your final year, in the Business Information Systems Industry Project (INF30027), you’ll team up with other students to work on a real project briefed to you by an industry partner.

Industry partners are Reece, KPMG, PwC, NAB, Unico, Deloitte, Compass, EY, Bakers Delight, Melbourne Water, Siemens, Viva Energy, DXC and more.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English other than EAL or at least 30 in English as an Additional Language (EAL); Units 1 to 4: satisfactory completion in two units (any study combination) of any Mathematics.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

As for Year 12 or equivalent.

Graduates will be well equipped to meet the requirements of both industrial and commercial organisations for information technology specialists. Recent graduates have obtained positions such as business analyst, team leader, software developer, systems analyst, project manager, security analyst, production manager, client service network consultant, and network coordinator.
