Overview

If logistics and supply chain management, export/import operations, and manufacturing and services interest you then this major is for you.
Analyse logistics within a sustainable supply chain, focusing on purchasing and procuring materials, inventory flow and control, storage and material handling in warehousing, economics of mode of transport, distribution and shipment and supply chain technology and analytics.
The course comprises 24 units including core business units, specialist units, elective units and a stream of Business Challenge units, which are designed to build your skills in critical thinking, academic writing, teamwork, problem solving, project management career preparedness, with an entrepreneurial mindset, and global perspective. You can also complete a second major from 11 majors to broaden your career prospects. Work-Integrated Learning units are available and provide opportunities to apply learnings and enhance practical work skills preparing students for employment.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL.
