The Bachelor of Business – TAFE Advanced Diploma of Hospitality provides the workplace skills and theoretical knowledge to join a global industry. You will develop skills to analyse, design and execute judgement using a wide range of technical, creative, conceptual and managerial competencies.
On completion of this degree, you could move into a range of management roles such as food and beverage, front of house, restaurants, corporate functions and more. From entertainment and recreation to accommodation and food service, you will learn to be a flexible, responsive manager who successfully guides businesses in this highly diverse industry.
In your first year and a half of the degree, you will combine TAFE and University study with your final courses being University only. Within the Bachelor of Business component of the degree, you will select a major of your choice to complement your TAFE Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management and enhance your career prospects.
You will also undertake a final-year capstone subject that lets you apply everything you've learned up to that point in collaboration with students from other disciplines. Plus, you have the option of applying for an internship to gain valuable experience whilst receiving credit towards your degree.
