Creative businesses continue to establish themselves worldwide, so not only can you use this degree globally, but your combined skills and knowledge also enhance your value to traditional and creative businesses. The business component of the course is designed to you students to realise your full potential to think entrepreneurially and to ethically and sustainably shape the future of business. Early in the course, you will develop core business capabilities including critical thinking, professional communication, digital and technological fluency, teamwork, and global citizenship. You then undertake focused and authentic study in their chosen business discipline, engaging with the real world of business through work-integrated learning, projects and placements. Creative industries core units develop networking, project management and creative thinking skills. Students then select a creative industries major to suit their individual interests and career aspirations. Students can complete complementary combinations like media and communication with advertising, or pursue a professional business career, such as accountancy, finance or human resource management in a creative environment.
