Australia is home to some of the most unique and diverse coastlines and marine ecosystems in the world and we need to make sure they remain protected. By understanding the conservation and management issues they face, such as climate change, pollution, and overfishing – we can help find solutions to these problems. When you study the Bachelor of Coastal and Marine Science you’ll be learning from experts in marine, coastal and ecological fields, giving you practical skills to make a difference to our world. Animal biology, biodiversity and conservation, coastal and surface processes, coastal infrastructure, environmental regulation, geography, politics, and policy.

Your fundamental marine science skills can be complemented by up to two minors, from a traditional science or non-traditional areas such as social science or communication.
