Overview

This course teaches the foundations of commerce then allows students to specialise in one or two key areas. In their final year students develop essential skills and experience through the work-integrated-learning capstone program. Students also have the opportunity to gain a global perspective by completing one semester at JCU Singapore. An optional second major encourages students to build creativity and innovation and caters for individual interests or a specialist career goal. The Accounting Major is jointly accredited by CPA Australia and the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ)JCU Offer Guarantee: JCU offers guaranteed admissions to most courses if a minimum ATAR is achieved.
