Overview

The Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) prepares students for a career in accounting and commerce including the analysis, interpretation and communication of financial information. Students can undertake foundation studies in a range of business topics, as well as focus on advanced studies in accounting principles and processes, auditing, taxation law, finance and commercial law topics to develop a sound understanding of the accounting function. Elective topics can be chosen from other business specialisations or from other courses to broaden students?educational experience.This course has a strong multidisciplinary focus giving a competitive edge in the international marketplace. It will qualify students to practise as an accountant and provide extensive opportunities across the globe.
