Overview

Every scientific breakthrough is accompanied by a complex transition from the laboratory to the community, and the corporate world is increasingly influenced by scientific advances and developments.

A degree each in commerce and science gives you the skills to commercialise scientific research or outcomes, or apply commercial knowledge in scientific business or research environments. With around 40 majors and minors available, this double degree opens many doors. Majors in applied mathematics and actuarial studies or econometrics could lead to the development of new mathematical models and principles in an academic career. With ecology and conservation biology and a commerce major in sustainability and responsible management you could lead sustainable practices in your community or organisation. Or blend pharmacology and marketing science for a successful career in marketing new medications or scientific breakthroughs.
