Overview

Grow wealth, manage investments and give financial advice. Our double-major, combined with our work placement, makes you more employable in the competitive corporate world. With our economics and finance degree, you can work in banking, insurance, investments, stockbroking, corporate finance and more.

You will learn how to help companies, government departments and private entities profit through economic and financial management strategies. As well as focusing on courses needed for professional accreditation with the major professional bodies, you'll explore statistics, economics, accounting and more and can go on to specialise in areas like personal financial planning, banking and international business.

You'll be prepared to start your exciting career after participating in our Work Integrated Learning Program. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable real-world skills through paid placement, internships, overseas exchanges, class practice or a project.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in any English.
