In this course, you’ll be introduced to the theory and practice of the worlds of commerce, finance and banking. A highly practical degree, you’ll develop knowledge and techniques in risk management and credit assessment, and will learn how to manage risks in financial services firms.
You’ll also explore topics including shares, debentures, derivatives and discounted cash flows, and will study methods to price a range of financial instruments. You’ll be involved in a range of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experiences linking directly to the finance and banking industries, and will graduate with sound knowledge of commerce and a breadth of professional skills which will ensure a successful career, whichever path you choose.
