The Bachelor of Communication (Business) offers you foundational studies in communication and media with a specialist major in Marketing. This flexible program offers opportunities to personalise your learning through an optional specialty major or minor from one of ten communication areas: advertising, communication and society, corporate storytelling, creative writing, digital media, film and television, journalism, media studies, social media, and public relations. As part of your studies, you may produce marketing strategies and advertising and public relations campaigns for real clients, as well as blogs, podcasts, published media stories, and websites. You will also gain sound insight into human society in various contexts including gender, interpersonal, and intercultural communication. Some career outcomes for Bachelor of Communication (Business) graduates are social media marketing specialist, communications officer, marketing communication and public relations specialist, strategic communication manager, sales representative, campaign manager, research communications officer, copywriter, and web developer.
