Offered through La Trobe's Bachelor of Computer Science, you'll develop skills across algorithms and data structures, full stack web development, user interface design, measurement and testing principles, and cloud-based web and mobile applications.

La Trobe's Bachelor of Computer Science gives you the technical skills to adapt to emerging technologies across an increasingly digital world. Carefully aligned to meet industry needs, you'll choose from four majors – artificial intelligence, software engineering, cloud analytics or data science – so you can prepare for a specialised career in computer science.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL) or at least 20 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in any Mathematics.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.
