The construction industry in Australia is booming. Construction managers lead and coordinate building and physical infrastructure projects. Working both on and off site, they schedule and coordinate the design and construction process, including selecting, hiring and supervising trade contractors, as well as the budget and legal aspects of the project. The Bachelor of Construction Management (Building) (Honours) has a high level of professional recognition both in Australia and overseas. Construction management graduates work in a range of leadership roles in the industry. This includes project management, contract management, quantity surveying, estimating, building surveying, building certification, facilities management, property development and WHS. They manage physical building and infrastructure projects and can be site or office based.

Construction managers lead and coordinate design and construction processes. This includes liaising with clients and consultants, and selecting, hiring and supervising various trade contractors. They’re also responsible for managing the legal and financial aspects of the project.
