Overview

The Bachelor of Counselling provides professional training and personal development for those students who seek to work as accredited counsellors.  Combining evidence-based learning, professional skills development and a supervised, industry placement, the Bachelor of Counselling focuses on the development of the human person through the lifespan.  The inclusion of the developmental, psychosocial, personal and spiritual aspects of living allows students to explore life stages and transitions.  A range of counselling theories and approaches provide the theoretical framework upon which students can develop their counselling skills and their ability to reflect on and learn from their own experiences.  Notre Dame’s Bachelor of Counselling is professionally accredited by the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia.
