Overview

In this course, you’ll combine a Bachelor of Criminology with a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) to specialise in two curriculum areas. In the Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), you will learn about all the major fields in psychology, at introductory and more advanced levels. Areas include: human development through the lifespan; biological, social, and cultural influences on the individual person; perception, emotion, learning, cognition, language and neuroscience; personality and individual differences; abilities and disabilities; and psychological health and wellbeing and psychological disorders. The design of our course enables you to develop superior analytical skills alongside contemporary scientific research methods for investigating human minds and behaviour. You will also have the opportunity to pursue topics of particular interest to you through elective units.

Majors

Crime Science, Criminal Behaviour, Legal Studies, White Collar and Corporate Crime. 

Potential Career Outcomes

Career opportunities exist within both Criminology and Psychology. Your Criminology degree can lead into careers such as crime prevention and juvenile justice, and your Psychology degree can lead into careers such as a Psychologist (with further study) and Human Resources.
