This course prepares students for a successful career in the criminal justice sector and related fields, through a comprehensive understanding of those entrepreneurship challenges of a transforming criminal justice system and their impact on crime and social harm. This specialisation aims to prepare students for the entrepreneurship challenges of a transforming criminal justice system.
On completion of the degree students will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of apply criminology, a nuanced understanding of the ways that criminal justice systems function to deliver justice both in Australia and abroad, and ability to deal with the entrepreneurship challenges of a transforming criminal justice system.
This degree prepares graduates for a career in a range operational services associated with criminal justice systems. Potential occupations may include advocacy officer, youth justice case manager and community corrections officer; potential employers may include private security, intelligence services and court administrations.
