Overview

Curtin’s Bachelor of Design (Fashion Design) appeals to creatives with a keen interest in fashion and passion for contemporary design. You’ll learn skills in fabric manipulation and construction, design, pattern making, styling and fashion illustration, and have opportunities to showcase your work.

Fashion Design explores the theoretical and contextual relationship between garment and body. It facilitates creative thinking and innovative design practice to generate an understanding of major industry trends and the cultural re-positioning of fashion design globally.

Applied practice-led learning experiences and work integrated learning (WIL) opportunities will prepare you to graduate highly experienced in the design process, with strong research, collaboration and exploration skills.
