Work Integrated Learning is a guaranteed part of all our bachelor degrees. This double degree has two units where you’ll have the opportunity to work on industry-linked projects. In the Design Capstone Project, you’ll work on an industry-linked project relevant to your design major, and in Industry Consulting Project (BSB3009), you’ll work in teams to solve a business problem briefed to you by our industry partners.

Prerequisites

Year 12 prerequisites

Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English other than EAL or at least 30 in English as an Additional Language (EAL); Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in one of Art Creative Practice, Product Design And Technology, Media, Creative And Digital Media (VCE VET) I, Art Making And Exhibiting or Visual Communication Design.

Non-Year 12 prerequisites

As for Year 12 or equivalent.

Potential Career Outcomes

Employment may be found in the areas of design consultancy, design management, publishing, merchandising, packaging, design research, marketing, economics and human resources. The type of careers this qualification leads to may include business consultant, communications designer, graphic designer, multimedia developer, advertising consultant, design consultant, customer experience designer.
