Overview

The Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education (Health Sciences Pathway) is a one year pathway designed for applicants who want to gain entry into the Bachelor of Health Sciences but may not meet the minimum academic requirements. Students who successfully complete all topics in this pathway year and achieve an overall Credit grade point average (or above) can transfer into the Bachelor of Health Sciences. Students who do not achieve the required grade point average or who do not wish to pursue the Bachelor of Health Sciences can remain in the Bachelor Disability and Developmental Education (4 years F/equivalent P including the Pathway year).The pathway year has a multi-disciplinary focus, with contributions from psychology, philosophy, speech pathology, sociology, health, rehabilitation, leisure and special education.
