Overview

The Early Childhood Education degree provides a qualification enabling you to teach children aged birth to eight years in junior primary government, Catholic and independent schools, and early learning and care centres. This course provides opportunities to gain a clear understanding of educational theory and classroom practice, and become responsive to the changing cultural, social and individual needs of children in schools. This degree includes child development, the importance of family partnerships, and teaching the curriculum learning areas.
