Overview

This program gives students the skills, knowledge and experience for a stimulating and rewarding career as a Primary school teacher. Students learn to design and deliver effective teaching programs from Foundation (Prep) to Year 6. Core courses help to deliver graduates who are prepared and confident in their teaching ability for a diverse range of learners. Students study in a flexible, engaging and dynamic environment with professionals who have experience in primary classrooms. This program is accredited with the Queensland College of Teachers and graduates are eligible to apply for registration as a teacher in school contexts. Potential Career Outcomes

Primary Schools, opportunities to work in in metropolitan, rural and remote and international schools. Teaching skills are also in demand in other areas, including roles with human services, community-based government organisations and recreation and tourism industries.
