Overview

This course produces well-rounded graduates who qualify for professional registration as a secondary school teacher within Australia. Students will benefit from frequent and meaningful opportunities for work experience and professional practice in authentic educational settings. Students choose two teaching disciplines to focus on, such as agricultural science, biology (including year 7 - 10 science), business, chemistry (including year 7 -10 science), English, geography, health and physical education (including year 7 - 10 HPE and year 11 - 12 physical education), history, home economics and hospitality, industrial technology and design, mathematics and psychology (including 7 - 10 science). Potential Career Outcomes

On completion of the Bachelor of Education (Secondary), students will be qualified to teach two specialist areas within secondary schools to Year 12.
