Overview

Students study their preferred areas of specialisation concurrent with a suite of core education units that address key educational needs of young people. Students graduating from this course will have the flexibility to take up employment in both private and government secondary schools.

Students aiming to fill specialist social sciences teaching roles in senior secondary (Years 11 and 12) can elect to specialise in Ancient and Modern History, Politics or Economics. Units in this program address key social science understandings and provide the content knowledge, skills and values needed to address the demands and opportunities of Humanities and Social Sciences in secondary schools.
