This is your chance to make an impact on the way the world works. When you choose this degree, you’ll be engineering from day one. This degree has a major focus on learning by doing, with hands-on projects from first year. You'll study a range of engineering areas before choosing from one of nine major areas of engineering to specialise in from your second year. This will distinguish you from other graduates in the marketplace and give you the chance to develop skills particular to your interests. You’ll learn from experts who are part of cutting-edge research being conducted alongside government and leading industry partners. Entering your final year, you'll undertake a work placement with one of our industry partners here, or overseas. Majors

Civil engineering (Gold Coast, Nathan); electrical and electronic engineering (Gold Coast); electrical and renewable energy engineering (Gold Coast); electronic engineering (Nathan); electronic and energy engineering (Nathan); electronic and UAV engineering (Nathan); environmental engineering (Nathan); mechanical engineering (Gold Coast, Nathan); mechatronics (Nathan). For software engineering, refer to Bachelor of Software Engineering (Honours).
